Kilimall is looking to recruit an outstanding and industrious individual with human resource management skills to perform the following duties:
HR & Admin Officer Job Duties
- Designing, overseeing and implementing a firm’s compensation and benefits programs
- Monitor salary structures
- Balance staffing
- Ensure that policies, procedures and programs are in alignment with the organization’s overall strategic objectives and HR vision
- Writing appointment, warning, suspension, dismissal and termination letters
- Weekly reports on overtime, staff turnover, absenteeism and injuries
- Ensuring registration of staff with N.S.S.F, N.H.I.F, AND K.R.A
- Preparing human resource monthly reports
- Preparing daily in, out and absenteeism reports
- Updating staff N.S.S.F and N.H.I.F statements
- Recruitment and selection
- Tabulating the accrued leave days
- Processing of annual leave
- Updating staff records
- Acting as liaison between staff and management
- Ensuring health and safety of staff
- Filing staff records and ensuring that it is efficient
- In-charge of performance appraisals
- Ensuring training and development of staff
- In-charge of industrial relations and working with the unions
- Performance management
Requirements for HR & Admin Officer Jobs in Kenya
- Degree in Human Resources or business or related field is a must.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the field; those with supervisory experience will have extra advantage.
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication skills
