Sales Manager Role
Managing Sales Representatives
- Monitoring medical reps while in the market.
- Ensuring presence and accountability.
- Conducting weekly sales meetings in order for reps to present their work with a view to evaluating, assisting and monitoring the quality of presence in the market.
- Ensuring the sale is closed
- Reading and evaluating weekly sales reports with an aim to ensure, Reps are following correct course with each account
- Each account is being given adequate time
- Samples and follow up being done in an accurate and timely manner
- Each sales rep is putting in adequate time in the market, ensuring the key end user is being metAny obstacles the reps may be facing to be given support or assistance to push our product thru
- Ensuring punctual attendance in the office and in the market.
- Leading the team
Sales Administration
- Keeping track of all quotes given out and ensuring adequate feedback of the same
- Assisting in collections of all accounts
- Managing reports, sample out sheets, expense statements with scrutiny for accuracy
- Ensuring that all work as given by director is attended to without reminder
- Participation in submission of tenders
- Managing and research into logistics of supply in the region with various local suppliers with an aim to also ensuring frugal delivery of product as well as
- complying with all regional customs and licencing requirements
Your Own Accounts
- Able to identify and establish new business
- Able to grow existing brands and business
- Understand market conditions and able to undertake relevant research
- Must be a quick learner and possess commercial awareness
- Able to maintain detailed and organized records and submit regular marketing reports
- Able to present and communicate to prospective doctors/nurses on a one on one and formal setting.
- Accountable, strong integrity and hard worker
- Fully computer literate
- Team player and able to close the deal
Broad Scope
- As manager you will be in charge of market research into our brand position, competition, pricing
- The position requires managing a team of 2 or more medical representatives with an aim to lead the company’s sales objectives forward and to meet both brand and volume based targets.
- Ability to self-drive and manage is key
- The individual should possess the ability to work independently and self-learn through company library tools
- Responsible for developing, training and recruiting reps when necessary
- Responsible for preparing sales plans and measuring sales rep performance
- Representing the company at formal events and conferences as well as the product launches and organizing all details that go into such activities.
Requirements For Sales Manager Kenyan Jobs
- Able to lead by example
- Expert selling and managing skills
- Strong integrity
- Overtime when necessary
- Ability to self-drive, see the opportunities and push the company objectives forward
- Strong people management skills necessary. Experience a must.
- Travel for a full week per month is necessary
- Sales Experience and Degree in marketing or science equivalent
- Able to meet individual and group targets
