Purpose of the Position: The role of the Retail Sales Manager is to responsibly build and develop the company’s business with a view to achieving a set of pre-defined sales, revenue targets and growth forecasts.

- Manage and motivate the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Experience in working with one of the major retail chains in Kenya.
- Meet targets, look for ways to exceed sales and improve customer service.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives and monitor competitor activities.
- Meet financial objectives by preparing an annual sales budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Formulate pricing policies.
- Organize special promotions, displays and events according to the company’s standards.
