National Housing Corporation (NHC) is a State Owned Enterprise (SOE) established under the Housing Act Cap.117 of the Laws of Kenya and is the principal agent of the National Government in implementation of Housing.

The principal role of NHC is development of decent and affordable housing, facilitating rural housing development as well as mobilization of local and international capital for housing development.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Kenyan citizens to fill the following vacant position:

Engineer (Planning, Control & Design)

The Engineer (Planning, Control & Design) reports to the General Manager Manufacturing (EPS Factory)

Engineer Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• All aspects of planning and design of Factory production processes;
• Undertaking of all planning activities including costing of projects;
• Technical drawings and design work;
• Ensuring quality control in the Factory in accordance with the set standards.

Requirements for Engineer Jobs in Kenya

 

• Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent;
• Be a Registered Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) for a minimum of three (3) years;
• Have six (6) years relevant experience in Civil and Structural Works;
• Be a Corporate Member with the Institute of Engineers of Kenya;
• Be computer literate and be proficient in Civil Engineering Design and Drawing Software (e.g Auto CAD, Prokon or Eagle Point).
