Position: Rider manager
Report To:  All riders/Drivers report to the Rider Manager

Kilimall International Ltd is looking to hire a qualified candidate for the position of Rider Manager to perform the following duties;

Rider Manager Duties & Responsibilities

• To plan and coordinate freight and transport operations in Kilimall and to make sure that goods reach clients, on time and in the most cost-effective way.
• Responsible for the drivers i.e. monitoring their progress and being their first point of contact should a problem arise making communication skills vital.
• Responsible for ensuring all Employees portray a Corporate Brand Image through inspections of riders’ uniforms, company vehicles and motor bikes and equipment
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints.
• Ensuring drivers are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee Booking and deliveries and in collaboration with liaising with care team.
• Organizing and overseeing all health and safety checks and routine vehicle checks and adhering to both company and statutory requirements
• Managing Kilimall resources according to the company policies planning effectively the resources and movements on the transport planning system.
• Be aware of all transport legislation and procedures to ensure company compliance.
• Managing communication effectively with the riders and responding to their requirements to be able to deliver goods to customers.
• Outsourcing sub-contractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms.
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Issue repairs and maintenance schedule

Qualification & Skills For Rider Manager jobs in Kenya

• Degree in a logistics/ experience in Fleet management.
• Experiencing in managing and supervising others in logistics is desirable.
• Strong planning, management and coordination skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities.
• Achieving results effectively
• Accountability – ensure efficient and transparent use of resources in line with Kilimall policies and procedures
• Addresses difficult situations and makes tough decisions confidently and calmly
• Maintains focus on delivery of timely and appropriate results using available resources; identifies and acts on issues and problems in area of responsibility
