Radiology Key Account Manager
Ref No. 2015/HR/BHC-010

Reporting to Medical Care Business Unit Head, the primary responsibility of this position is to lead the execution of sales and marketing strategies for the Radiology product portfolio within a defined Service Territory.

Key Account Manager Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for achievement of marketing, sales and cost goals of Radiology product portfolio agreed by Management
• Manage Key Accounts in close collaboration with Service Technician Representative
• Coordinate all product introductions and launches
• Implement approved marketing plans and proactively collect market intelligence
• Ensure all key accounts and marketing activities undertaken are documented according to set standards and fully comply with IFPMA code of conduct, as well as with Bayer HealthCare compliance manual
• Manage the marketing spend budget
• Ensure product availability by ensuring accurate demand forecasting and stock control
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry especially Thought Leaders.
• Coordinate product training and clinical applications of Contrast Injector Systems to HealthCare Professionals
• Ensure implementation of the Bayer LIFE values

Competencies

• Thought Leaders identification and development skills
• Key accounts management skills
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and Medical devices industry in East African countries.
• Advanced understanding of sales/marketing techniques and knowledge of the HealthCare markets and potential customer base
• Extremely strong communication and leadership skills with Proficiency in the English language
• Effective presentation, influencing, verbal and listening communication skills
• Ability to work competently in software programs including Word, Excel and PPT
• Experience in Budgeting, forecasting & Planning
• High level of mobility is needed to travel locally and internationally. Good driving record with valid driver’s license

Qualifications For Key Account Manager Jobs In Kenya

• Diploma in Medical Imaging from a recognized educational institution
• Must be registered with a relevant professional body or be registry eligible and possess a permit to practice where applicable
• At least four years’ relevant experience in operating CT and MRI Equipment
• Computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
