Our client is a regional leader in Hospitality, Catering and Event Management. In order to expand, our client is looking to hire a General Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities of General Manager jobs in Kenya

• Manage the day to day operations of the office, consistent with the firm’s financial and administrative policies and public law.
• Establish budgets, business strategies, staffing needs and forecasts to assure the growth and profitability
• Provide motivational leadership to the staff and shape the values and culture of the firm.
• Pursue the development of new business leads, contacts and presentations; seek opportunities to expand services to existing clients.
• Cultivate long-term, top-level relationships and confidence with client management, including account service responsibilities, when appropriate.
• Insure the prudent and most effective use of firm funds, personnel, and other resources.
• Develop and recognize professional excellence in employee performance.
• Meet budgeted income and related financial goals.
• Anticipate/respond promptly to internal/external issues with appropriate changes in staff or strategy to assure problems do not endanger critical relationships with clients or key employees.
• Promote a favorable public image of the firm.
• Establish challenging goals in service and product quality for department heads.
• Any other duty deemed necessary.

Qualifications for General Manager jobs in Kenya

• A Hospitality Degree or any related discipline.
• Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
• Over 10 year Industry Experience.
• Must be Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills.
