Medical Underwriter Job  Opportunities at Pacis Insurance Company, Kenya

Pacis Insurance Company wishes to recruit an experienced, dynamic, innovative and hardworking individual to fill the following position.

Medical Underwriter Job Nature and Scope

• To manage and service intermediary and direct business to ensure retention and growth.

Principals Accountabilities

• Determine acceptability and terms of the risks
• Monitor and review terms of medical accounts assigned
• Issuing of accurate quotations promptly
• Ensure timely and accurate debiting of premium and endorsement of cover conditions
• Prepare renewal notices, ensure timely dispatch and follow up
• Assist in product development
• Preparing of medical claims utilization report
• Check and sign underwriting documents
• Maintain effective business relationships to ensure effective delivery of service
• Supervise, train and mentor staff on technical matters to ensure their skills are sharpened
• Assist in product training for corporate members, brokers and Direct Sales Agents

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience for Medical Underwriter Jobs in Kenya

• A business related degree preferably in insurance
• A diploma in insurance
• At least 2 years’ experience in a busy medical underwriting department
• Skills in data analysis
