Merchandiser Job Opportunities at HotPoint Appliances, Kenya
Department:Sales & Marketing
Reporting to:Product Manager
Job location Head Office, Nairobi

Merchandiser Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Sell company products
• Ensuring that all Nakumatt branches have all products – LG, Ariston, Simfer, Westpoint etc and that they have codes in addition to all other new products, well displayed, Clean, etc
• Notifying all branches countrywide of new products and new codes and ensuring they are ordered and displayed in strategic positions
• Ensure all products are priced correctly and that any changes implemented straightaway
• Ensure that all our products are well displayed and POP materials maintained with a lot of creativity
• Ensure orders are placed for any item sold and stock replacements are done
• Ensure that all issues pertaining to our products are resolved
• Report any competitor activity in Nakumatt immediately
• Getting market information as well as competitor information and communicating the same to the management
• Assist in conducting promotions and carrying out all the outdoor activities
  Sorting out GRN/ Credit notes issues as well as following with HAL to ensure that all items sent to HAL for repairs / replacements has been done without any delay
• Any other duties as may be assigned by superior

Qualifications & Skills for Merchandiser Jobs in Kenya

• Certificate in a Business related field
• 3-4 years Merchandising experience
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Strong analytical & numerical skills
