Scode ltd envisions itself to be the market leader in the production and distribution of renewable and cleaner energy products and services. The current product portfolio includes Improved CookStoves for Households and Institutions, Solar Home Systems, Solar lanterns. Solar dryers, Biogas plants for Households and Institutions and consultancy services.

Scode ltd is currently looking for talented, entrepreneurial, dynamic, ambitious and innovative marketing professionals under the following terms:

Project Marketing Officer  Job Terms of Reference

• As an Officer staff in the Project Marketing function, the incumbent will manage and support the dissemination of the SCODE LTD integrated Solar Home Systems and micro-gasifier stoves in the designated regions.
• He/ She will report directly to the project manager SCODE Ltd and work closely with cross functional teams’ like Finance, Business Development and Human Resources

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Present, train on use and sell integrated Solar Home Systems and micro-gasifier stoves to current and potential clients;
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity;
• Follow up on debts that may accrue in your business of making sales, ensuring the same is done in accordance to SCODE Ltd financial regulations and rules;
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and ensure they are within accepted SCODE Ltd sales contracts;
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services;
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
• Identify and resolve client concerns;
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals;
• Any other duty as may be assigned to you by the project manager or his/her assignee.

Education and work experience

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Business with a major in Sales and Marketing
• Excellent management & communication skills
• Innovative thinker full of initiative and can work with minimal supervision
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent levels of customer service
• Proven track record of achieving and surpassing set targets
• Sales experience in selling of solar products on Pay As You Go model is an added advantage

MUST BE BASED OR WILLING TO RELOCATE IN EITHER MERU, EMBU OR UASINGISHU COUNTIES
Expected salary: 10, 000-12,000 KES Plus commissions upon reaching set targets
