Background Information: Turkana Agro-Pastoralist Development Organization (TADO group informally started in 2011. The group was fully registered with the ministry of Gender social development services as TADO under the Irrigation Act {cap 378} and issued with a certificate of registration number 6819 dated 8th December 2011.
The certificate for the TADO covers landing sites on five areas including Kapetadie, Lorus, Naritae, Nameri and Echori. The TADO has 60 registered members to date and actively interacts with many more unregistered members.
Mission Statement: The main purpose TADO is to be a vibrant community based that will to take up irrigation initiative for the benefits of the pastoralist community nomads at Kraal level.
