Our client is a leading mobile and digital services provider operating a payments ecosystem connecting financial sector customers, Mobile Network Operators and businesses to consumers. They are seeking to hire an innovative and competent individual to fill in the position of Business Analyst.

Systems Manager Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Business Planning & Performance Manager, The Enterprise Systems Manager will manage the strategy, deployment, and performance of Enterprise Systems across the Group to ensure value to the business.

Enterprise Systems Team Leadership

• Lead the Enterprise Systems Team that comprises Business Analyst and Technical Architect.
• Develop a vision for Enterprise Systems that enhances convergence of Systems, alignment with processes/business objectives, collaboration across teams and better decision making.
• Define the Enterprise Systems Team’s face of success e.g. impact to business, deliverables, System Operations and their successful adoption.
• Define the roles of the Enterprise Systems Team post-implementation of the Data Warehouse and ERP.

Enterprise Systems Operations

• Oversee the management of all current and future Enterprise Systems across the Group.
• Review all current Enterprise Systems and determine their current impact to business i.e. cost vs benefit, collaboration, integration/alignment to business objectives/processes.
• Develop and oversee a roadmap for improving Systems’ impact- to-business e.g. retain as-is, restructure, consolidate, cancel, on-board new technologies, etc.
• Oversee the implementation and management of all Enterprise Systems.
• Oversee business/system change management to align with the Enterprise Systems vision.
• Ensure best practice standards are applied during and after Enterprise System implementations.
• Ensure required operations such as System compliance, integrity and maintenance are carried out effectively.
• Ensure training and support for end users around Enterprise Systems features and functions.
• Manage third party Enterprise System vendors.

Qualifications For Systems Manager Jobs In Kenya

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years management/supervision/project management in a large or medium-sized business in
• Telecoms; Financial Services or FMCG
• Demonstrated functional and technical knowledge of ERP and Analytics platforms; with multi-country implementation, support, integration, and development / customization experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitation or driven by business need
• Knowledge of change management tools and processes, including versioning, defect tracking and release management
• Proven leadership experience in managing a technical-based team that has delivered and managed a complex technical project/solution in a high pressured environment dealing with senior level management.
• An understanding of the operational/management reporting expectations post an ERP/DWH implementation.
• Technical background with a business mind.
