Overall purpose of the role:
- Business development and growth
Sales Account Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company’s sales target
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by cross selling
- Be the liaison between the company and the client by managing and solving all conflicts with clients
- Interact and coordinate with other departments to ensure the clients products are made and delivered
- Understand the client requisitions and present samples
- Prepare and present quotations to clients
- Any other duty other duties assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications for Sales Account Manager Jobs in Kenya
- Bachelors degree in a business related field preferably Marketing
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in progressive corporate sales
Competencies
- In-depth working knowledge and experience in marketing
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
