Our client is looking for an Order Fulfillment Manager who will oversee all processes for order fulfillment and management, distribution operations, and transportation functions for a consumer solar electronic startup.

The candidate will report to the Supply Chain Manager. He/she will work directly with external clients, suppliers and factory managers, logistics partners, shipping agents, and warehousing agents. This includes, but is not limited to:

Order Fulfillment Manager Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing order management and fulfillment, including creating customer and supplier profiles, preparing material requests, purchase orders and sales invoices (customer/supplier contact info, bill to / ship to, product, pricing), and confirming order status
• Coordinating, communicating, and tracking sales order operations, including shipment quantities, product mix, lead times, and/or customer pick up allowances
• Managing inventory, stock forecasting, ERP, and serial number tracking to reduce lead time and improve traceability
• Preparing all necessary documentation for sales orders and shipments
• Updating the ERP platform with product information, pricing, and payment terms
• Identifying, appointing, and monitoring strategic, regional warehouse/fulfillment centers
• Maintaining supplier and customer contracts, sales sheets, and price lists
• Establishing and maintaining value-based, long-term relationship with manufacturing and logistics partner(s); monitoring manufacturer and logistic partner performance against Key Performance Indicators
• Reporting past and future supply chain metrics
• Identifying value-added supply chain management strategies for company, manufacturer, and distribution partners
• Providing analysis and recommendations to improve order fulfillment efficiency (e.g. lead time, sales order size, inventory management, etc…)
  Creating consistency across all order fulfillment processes

Qualifications For Order Fulfillment Manager Jobs In Kenya

• Minimum of a BA/BS in a quantitatively-oriented field, such as Business Finance
• 4+ years experience in order fulfillment and/or supply chain management
• Successful track record in account management, product management, project management, and/or operations
• Ability to lead and manage a team across cultures, organizations, and time zones
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience in day-to-day operations
• Verifiable experience in strategy formation and implementation
• Experience working directly with Chinese and East African manufacturers and logistics companies
• Experience working with ERP and inventory management systems
