The Kenya School of Law is a Postgraduate Training Institution run under the auspices of the Kenya School of Law Act No. 26 of 2012 of the Laws of Kenya.

The core mandate of the School is inter alia ttrain for legal professional development and in particular to train lawyers for entry into the legal professional as Advocates of the High Court of Kenya. The core function of the School as currently constituted includes provision of the following functions:-

• Advocates Training Programme & Par-legal Studies
• Continuing Professional Development, Projects & Legal Research

In order to effectively meet these expanded functions the School wishes to recruit full timehigh calibre personnel who will join the existing strong team of staff to help it realize its vision of being “A preferred
centre of Excellence in professional legal training in the East African Region and beyond”

Specifically we seek to recruit:-

HR Officer Job Overall Purpose

• To assist in the human resource planning, recruitment, development, and retention. It includes assisting in performance, reward management, and implementation of staff policies and welfare initiatives.

Person Specification for HR Officer Kenyan Jobs

The successful job holder will

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or Human Resources from a recognized university;
• A post graduate Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management and membership of IHRM;
• At least4 years relevant working experience in a similar environment;
• Must be conversant with labour laws;
• Must be computer literate;
• Good organization, analytical and communication skills;
• A team player, high level interpersonal skills and a person of integrity.

Remuneration Package:
KSL 6
Basic Salary: KES 57,500 x 2,875 to 60,375 x 2,875 to 63,250 x 2,875 to 66,125 x 2,875 to 69,000 x 2,875 to
71,875 x 2,875 to 74,750 x 2,875 to 77,625 x 2,875 to80,500 x 2,875 to 83,375 per month
House Allowance: 24,000
Commuter Allowance: 8,000
