HR Business Partner Job. Salary 280-320K.

Job Title: HR Business Partner
Industry; Manufacturing (Multinational Firm)
Location: Nairobi
Salary: 280-320K

Our client is a multinational firm involved in the manufacturing sector. Due to expansion, they are looking to hire a HR business partner.

Role Purpose
•Work closely with the Country Manager and Senior Management team to identify the current and future needs of the business and design HR & OD strategies, plans, and interventions to ensure the department is equipped to achieve them.
•To support the General Manager and provide the strategic interface between HR and specific functions or business units to embed a strategic approach to HR management and development that results in a more effective front line delivery.
•The business partner leads and manages the people management related agenda at the business unit. The partner supports and leads the change management projects and shares the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery within the Business. The business partner identifies and prepares development plans for employees.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business unit
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the client’s side
  • Manages HR Projects cross-functionally
  • Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Recruits and develop personally the key talents for the internal client
  • Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Drive and facilitate an effective performance management regime in the department creating and maintaining a high performance culture to improve organizational capability and the caliber of individuals.
  • Work with the senior management team to identify opportunities for productivity improvements, via review of organizational structures, streamlining of business processes, continuous improvement, and performance management.
  • Act as a catalyst for change and innovation driving cultural change to transform service delivery and improve organizational effectiveness, and embed corporate values; facilitate organizational/cultural change by engaging people in the identification / understanding of the need for change.
  • Participate and implement succession plans for key talents and key job positions
  • Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes
  • Key part of the HR team and will work across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the business
  • Head up the operational function within the HR team
  • To provide HR advice and support to managers and staff on a wide range of strategic and operational human Resources issues
  • To advise, managers and staff on issues of employment legislation.
