Our client is one of the leading producers of FMCG. They produce quality branded tomato sauce, chilli sauce, fruit jam, fruit juice and bottled mineral water. It has an over 30 year’s reputation whose products have been well received locally and internationally within the COMESA markets. They are looking for a Production Manager to join their team.

FMCG Product Manager Job Description

• Management of the production teams to maximise production of tomato sauces, fresh products such as, fruit juices, fresh fruits & vegetables, green salads, fruits salads, etc
• Responsible for the quality team ensuring full adherence to local and international health and safety standards for all facilities, materials and products.
• Maintaining all international certifications, appropriate recording and remedial action
• Meeting all production quotas in time
• Minimum down-time of lines
• Compliance – reduction of wastage/rejects/consumer returns
• Management of the Maintenance team to ensure proper maintenance and full working order of all equipment to maximise production.
• Responsible to ensure maximum usage of resources with minimum time, risk and expenses to the company.
• Responsible for overall health and safety of department while on the job
• Relationship management of suppliers and contractors
• People management: responsible for the overall continuation of teams, including appropriate staffing levels, recruitment and development of individuals

Qualifications for Product Manager Kenyan Jobs

• BSC Food Science graduate preferably with 3 to 8 yrs of Experience in FMCG industry
• Must possess the knowledge and experience of manufacturing: juices/jams/tomato sauce,peanut butter,vinegar,chili sauces,baking powder,glucose among other things.
• Must have an experience of been a leader and age bracket of 30years to 42 years
• Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Have good experience in Quality tools to resolve the issues.
