Land Preparation Supervisor

The Job: Reports to the Agriculture Senior Department Head.

Land Supervisor Job Key Functions

• Planning, organizing and co-ordinating labour, equipment and materials in the land preparation section;
• Supervising and monitoring performance of each activity and directing necessary corrections;
• Providing timely and accurate reports on work performance;
• Performing administrative duties, training and motivating subordinates;
• Ensuring safe and healthy working environment.

Qualifications for Land Supervisor Kenyan Jobs

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:-

• Aged between 25 and 35 years.
• Have a minimum of a BSc degree in Agriculture Engineering/Bio systems Engineering.
• At least 3 years field working experience preferably in a large mechanized commercial agricultural set up or in a well established research institution.
• Must be capable of working independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Those with a driving licence and experience in working with heavy agricultural equipment will have an added advantage.
• Must be results oriented and ready to work in shifts and for long hours.
• Must be a team builder.
