Position 1: Irrigation Supervisor

The Job: Reports to the Agriculture Senior Department Head.

Irrigation Supervisor Job Key Functions:

• Planning, designing, installation, maintenance and operation of open field irrigation systems;
• Planning,organizing and coordinating irrigation labor, equipment and materials;
• Monitoring performance of irrigation activities and directing necessary corrections;
• Providing timely and accurate reports on work performance;Performing administrative duties, training and motivating sub-ordinates.

Requirements for Irrigation Supervisor Kenyan Jobs

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:-

• Aged between 25 and 35 years.
• BSc. Degree in Agricultural/Biosystems Engineering from a recognized University.
• Good knowledge of Autocard.
• Minimum 3 years experience in design and installation of large drip irrigation systems.
• Computer literate.
• Holders of a driving licence will have an added advantage.
• Must be capable of working independently, without close supervision and meet strict deadlines.
• Ready to work in shifts and long working hours.
